| The Stephen P. Cronin, Jr. Memorial Award is presented each year at the Loss Executives Association Annual Meeting to an individual who donates their time, skill and exceptional service to the property claim profession, promotes the educational and ethical development of the profession and does so out of dedication to the principles, professionalism, and fraternity of the LEA.
The award inscription reads: "This is presented in deepest appreciation in recognition of your dedicated service in contributing to and promoting the professional, educational, and ethical development of members of the property claims profession."
At the Annual Meeting in January of 2010, Lou Magnan, Partner of Magnan Graizzaro & Associates LLC in New York City, received this award. Lou Magnan was chosen because he has donated his skills and time to the professional education of property claims people around the country and in the LEA. He is recognized as the consummate professional, and never shies from sharing his knowledge and helping those in the business better understand and learn the principles of loss accounting.
In typically modest fashion, Lou commented: "I have had the distinguished pleasure to have participated with a number of esteemed seminar panelists with the aim of enhancing the professional, educational and ethical developments of the Loss Executives Association. I thank the Board for recognizing my contributions but recognize that many other professionals could have equally qualified for that same privilege, which I hold close to my heart."
The Executive Committee of the LEA asks the membership to submit the names of any individual they feel fits the above profile as a nominee to receive this prestigious award. Please email your nomination to info@lossexecutives.com. The ultimate choice is at the sole discretion of the Executive Committee. |
