Gerald began his career as a Junior Accountant with MDD Forensic Accountant’s predecessor firm, Johnson, Atwater & Company. In 1977, he moved to MDD’s New York office where he became a Partner.

A forensic accounting professional with a proven 50-year track record, Jerry specializes in matters related to business interruptionextra expensesstock & contentsfidelity & suretyphysical damageslost profitsbusiness disputesfraud concealment & misrepresentation and products liability & recall. He also has extensive experience in the environmental damages and catastrophe services areas.

Jerry has worked on assignments in virtually every industry from automotive to telecommunications.

He has provided testimony in both Federal and state courts. Additionally, he has provided litigation support for numerous arbitrations, mediations and appraisals.

Jerry has conducted and presented seminars on various forensic accounting topics.

He graduated from the Walton School in Chicago with a Bachelor of Science of Accounting degree. He also attended the United States Army Intelligence School.
