Maxine E. Walker is vice president and division claims manager for FM Global’s Western division. Based in the company’s Plano, Texas, USA, office, she is responsible for overseeing all claims-handling and loss adjustment activities in the operations’ U.S. territory, which includes Dallas, Texas; Los Angeles and San Francisco, Calif.; as well as Latin America.

Appointed to her current position in 2006, Walker previously served as operations vice president, claims manager, for FM Global’s New York operations, which is based in the company’s Parsippany, N.J., USA, office. Before that, she served as forest products claims manager in Dallas, Texas; assistant claims manager for Atlanta operations; and loss adjuster. She joined the company in 1981 as a loss prevention engineering consultant. Walker holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering technology from Mississippi State University, Mississippi State, Miss., USA. She sits on the board of directors of the Loss Executives Association and is a registered professional adjuster.
