On behalf of the LEA Board of Directors, it is my pleasure to invite you to the LEA’s Spring Meeting and Educational Conference being held at the Newport Marriott Hotel, 25 America’s Cup Avenue, Newport, RI, June 5-7, 2024.

Don’t miss this opportunity to catch up with your fellow members from all over North America, Latin America and the U.K. and obtain interesting educational content along with Continuing Education credits.

We begin on Wednesday June 5th with our annual Edward. Reilly Jr. Memorial Golf Outing at the Newport National Golf Club in close proximity to the hotel. Later in the evening will be a welcome reception at the Newport Marriott Hotel.

On Thursday morning, the General Session includes two keynote topics. Thursday afternoon and Friday morning will continue with a choice of three separate two-hour workshops followed by a choice of three separate one-hour sessions, all of which qualify for Continuing Education credits.

The topics for the two-hour sessions are All Things Battery, The Future for the Semiconductor & Data Center Infrastructure in the United States, and Cyber Security and its Role in Mitigating Threats, Risk and Ultimately Claims.

The one-hour session topics are: Complexities in Handling Waterfront Loss Exposures, Navigating the Gulf Coast: The Latest Developments Impacting Insurance Law in Florida, Texas, and Louisiana, Navigating Commercial Property Claims in Good Faith.

These presentations will provide a balanced and informative program which we hope you will find entertaining and educational.

We are extremely pleased to return to the Newport Marriott, one of the LEA members favorite locations. The Newport Marriott has an early cut-off date of May 1, 2024. So, in order to allow our membership and guests to take advantage of the negotiated room rate we are opening registration at this time. Once the program has been finalized, we will provide those who have registered with a separate email to make your workshop selections.
