Scott Armstrong joined Werlinger & Associates in 1993 as a consulting engineer after spending seven years as a design engineer at Northrop Aircraft & Electronics. He has more than 26 years of experience as a consulting engineer to the commercial property claims insurance industry and has assisted the insurance industry with large, complex files throughout the world. Scott’s work as a consulting engineer includes the assessment of equipment / systems related to Semiconductor Wafer Fabrication Facilities, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics, Medical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Lasers, Laboratory Systems, Special Test Systems, and a variety of other technical disciplines. He has handled hundreds of files throughout the United States and numerous files globally including files in England, Italy, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Israel, Oman, Mexico, Thailand, Japan, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Tanzania, Canada, Taiwan, and Guam. In 2000, Scott became a Principal at Werlinger & Associates.
Scott graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and has given numerous seminars to the insurance industry related to equipment loss assessment and semiconductor wafer fabrication losses.
